First news reprint from email but new here

Some of the names at the bottom of this posting will be unfamiliar to many people outside the UK. I'll post further names over rthe next few days. Among them, familiar names like Ricky Gervais, Daniel Craig - the nes James Bond, Sarah Ferguson Duchess of York and Nick Faldo.

Subject: Dorset Wilfife Trust Internet Auction NEWS 1

Hi everybody

At last I have something positive and substantial to report.

Before I get to to news I'd like to thank our sponsors. The generosity of Phillip Ward at Abbey Life who did all the posting for us of between 550 and 600 envelopes, Michelle Gerrard and Tom Groundes-Peace at Colart who provided watercolour paper and Mick at Board Envelopes will enable us to make considerably more for the Trust than if we had had to pay for everything. So thank you for for assistance, it is really appreciated.

On to the news. David Bellamy agreed to sign our request letter to the celebs as soon as he was asked and within a week or so the envelope packs were put together on my kitchen table and rushed across to Abbey Life. They were posted just over two weeks ago and the first drawings began to appear within only four days. Quite a number of refusals for various reasons have arrived but at least they were responses. We've received a couple of signed books, a keyring (no, I'm not kidding) and just over 30 drawings, some of which are very impressive. I've attached a list of what we have so far at the bottom of this email.

When I have about 50 items, selling will begin on ebay. I shall let you know exactly when and what address to call up so that you can see the drawings.

If anybody doesn't want to receive these updates which will be on an irregular basis because I don't want to do a 'weekly' and be scratching around for something to say, just reply to me with UNSUBSCRIBE as the messgae and I'll remove you from the address file. One thing I did want to point out is that everybody gets this as a 'blind' cc for confidentiality purposes.
